State of Mind Event

London State of Mind – Improving Young Peoples’ Mental Health 2pm – 6pm, Friday 17th February 2012
City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA

What is it?
An event to bring together young people and decision-makers to talk about Young Londoners’ mental health! In October 2011 a group of young people came together to create ‘State of Mind – Young Londoners’ Manifesto for Mental Health’.
This is this next stage, where young people get an opportunity to tell decision makers what they think and come up with joint solutions.

What to expect?

  • A showcase of different projects and the way they address young peoples’ mental health (including a massage chair and a video diary)
  • Group discussions on issues such as stigma, access to services and diversity
  • A chance to come up with a plan for how to overcome these issues
  • An opportunity to network and share experiences and viewpoints
  • Fun!

Who is it for?
Any young person with an interest in mental health and getting young peoples’ voices heard (workers are also welcome!)

There are limited spaces available so please confirm your attendance by Friday 10th February 2012
