PAYP Success

6 young people as part of the PAYP initiative successfully attend the LIFE Fire Course at New Malden Fire Station. During the half term the young people had 7am starts returning home at 6pm, enduring physical challenges as well as mental ones with smoke chambers, fire drills, life saving techniques and meeting new people. The outcomes from the course were huge in terms of learning, development and reflection with each young person gaining portfolios and certificates.
The PAYP team also had a fun filled day at Madam Tussards seeing many celebs and stars in the hussle bussle of the place which was hectic and hot! Each young person had a thoroughly enjoyable day with lots of memories and good experiences.
PAYP is currently nearly running at full capacity in terms of caseload with specific group works being done around Healthy Lifestyles, Young Parenting and Childcare and relationships.
