Youth FM BACK ON TRACK

YOUTH FM BACK ON TRACK

Youth FM have had a bit of a bumpy ride since the resignation of it’s founder Martin Smith last July 2007 and the last of the specialist workers or techies who left soon after. Due to ongoing staffing difficulties, Youth FM have had to merge with the senior session based at the Phoenix Centre, Roundshaw, Thursday’s 7-9.30pm (term time only).

Things are changing due to 4 very committed Youth FM members (Dan Harding, Tyler Chamabers, Chris James (CJ) and Rosie Boutcher. With support from Jo Tiernan (Acting Youth Development worker for the Phoenix), Youth FM have put together a new structured programme for training new members, and found a new purpose and drive for future events. Not only are new members starting to increase, but also old members are finding their way back.

Coming soon, listen out for Youth FM going live on radio, broadcasting on 87.7FM from Monday 20th October to Friday 31st October! Youth FM can be contacted for requests on 020 8770 6123 or visit the website on:
